Danny Irvine – Multi Award winning Landscape Photographer

2011 -International Loupe Awards

This was Danny Irvine’s  first time entering into the International Loupe Awards. He was very happy that he received 3 awards for his work. 1 Silver award and 2 Bronze awards. The Silver award winning image, ‘Shrouded Tetons’ was one of Danny’s newly captured images from his recent trip to the South & midwest of the USA. These awards are just one more recognition of the wonderful work that Danny is producing.

2011 -NSW Parliamentary Plein Air Photographic Prize

This image was selected as a finalist in the NSW Parliamentary Plein Air Photographic competition in 2011 making it 2 years in a row. It was exhibited at the New South Wales Parliament House from 31 August to 23 September. Hopefully next year Danny maybe able to place in the top 3.

2011 -AIPP APPA’s (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers/Australian Professional Photography Award’s)

So far 2011 has been good to Danny. Just this weekend he attended the judging of the APPA’s and as it was Danny’s first time entering this competition he wasn’t too  hopeful. There was a huge amount of amazing images on show and Danny was blown away when his image, ‘Passing of the Storm’ received a Silver Award. This image has now received awards in no less than 3 international Photo Competitions.

 

2011 -Epson International Pano Awards

Another competition and more awards. We are very proud to announce that Danny Irvine has recently claimed 1 Silver Award and 2 Bronze  Awards in the prestigious Epson International Pano Awards. The image awarded the Silver award was placed in 26th position in the open category. A very satisfactory result considering there were nearly 4000 entries. This is a great achievement for Danny and his work.

 

2010 -NSW Parliamentary Plein Air Photographic Prize

This limited edition image was selected as a finalist in the NSW Parliamentary Plein Air Photographic competition in 2010. It was exhibited at the New South Wales Parliament House from 31 August to 23 September. It was awarded one of three “Highly Commended Images of the Exhibition

 

2010 -Landscape 500

Danny Irvine entered six of his most popular images into the Landscape 500 Photographic Awards in 2010. We are very happy to announce that all six of the images that had been entered received an award. The Landscape 500 was run by Christian Fletcher, one of Australia’s Finest Landscape photographers. The judging was conducted by some well-known landscape photographers including Peter Eastway, Tom Putt, David Evans and Nick Rains. For such fine veterans of Landscape photography to place such awards on Danny’s images is a great honour indeed.
